OB/GYN Physician

Responsibilities

• Monitor and treat patients during pregnancy and childbirth, including prenatal and postnatal care
• Provide high-quality, routine women’s health care and diagnosis of gynecological conditions
• Conduct patient follow-ups using telemedicine
• Direct, advise, and supervise medical staff including nurses and medical assistants
• Render culturally competent care to diverse patient populations

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of medicine
• Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Valid license to practice in the District of Columbia
• Proficiency in electronic medical records and technology
• Ability to credential with commercial and government third party payers

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years practicing medicine in hospital or private practice
• Experience in practice development or start-up environments
