Responsibilities

• Senior medical leadership and technical responsibility for an inpatient unit for young adults
• Diagnosis and treatment of mental illnesses in young adulthood using evidence-based psychiatric-psychotherapeutic concepts
• Design and further development of age- and development-appropriate treatment offers within a multiprofessional team
• Supervision, technical guidance, and training of assistant physicians and other professional groups
• Active participation in rounds, case discussions, and therapy planning
• Close cooperation and leadership of a multiprofessional team including psychologists, nursing staff, and social services
• Participation in the conceptual development of the ward and ensuring high quality of care
• Participation in the senior medical on-call service

Requirements

• Completed specialist training (Facharzt) in Psychiatry and Psychotherapy or in Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy
• Committed personality with passion for psychiatric-psychotherapeutic work
• Motivation for demanding clinical activities
• Interest in long-term professional perspectives and leadership roles
