About the role
Responsibilities
- Support fuel consumption analysis, emission and OBD certification, and compliance testing for the US market
- Create and maintain Python-based tools, documentation, and evaluation programs
- Assist in developing new programmatic solutions to improve company workflows and data pipelines
- Analyze data, summarize results, and prepare technical reports for internal development partners
- Support software change management processes and evaluate their impact on certification
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on common projects and objectives
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, or VBA
- Experience with Git version control software
- Strong data analysis and technical reporting skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
- Ability to communicate complex technical topics in a diverse, multicultural environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with MATLAB or other programming languages
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Power BI, or GitHub
- Powertrain development experience
- German language skills
