NW Deployment Build Lead I

Responsibilities

• Launch new network capacity and cutting-edge server technologies at the data center level
• Act as the technical point of contact for internal teams regarding network deployment
• Perform rigorous hardware verification inspections on server racks, networking devices, and components
• Identify and resolve technical impairments and implement process improvements to minimize failures
• Coordinate design, project timelines, and construction works to ensure adherence to schedules
• Work closely with Install/Deployment Technicians, Supply Chain, and Project Management teams
• Assist with rack deployments and cabling during high-volume deployment periods

Requirements

• 1+ years of computer networking experience
• 2+ years of experience in computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, or data center operations
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Experience working with Linux operating systems
• Ability to lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds
• Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in large-scale data center network implementations and support
• Experience working in virtualized enterprise networking environments
• Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system
• Knowledge of cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies
• Experience working with IT best practice frameworks such as ITIL, LEAN, or AGILE
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
