NVH CAE Engineer

Responsibilities

• Handle full-vehicle and subsystem NVH load cases using Nastran and Opti Strut
• Perform model assembly and integration for BIW, Trim BIW, and Full vehicle
• Build and evaluate FE models ensuring high-quality meshing and accurate connections
• Generate acoustic cavity models with correct measurement point positioning
• Execute Modal Analysis, Frequency Response Functions, and Direct Response Analysis
• Conduct Transfer Path Analysis (TPA) to identify dominant noise contributors
• Prepare detailed technical reports and present findings to clients
• Provide structural design countermeasures to achieve NVH performance targets
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to competency development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Aerospace Engineering
• 2-5 years of vehicle-level NVH analysis experience
• Strong understanding of Structural Mechanics and Finite Element Methods
• Hands-on experience with ANSA or HyperMesh for pre-processing
• Hands-on experience with META or HyperView for post-processing
• Ability to interpret simulation results including stress-strain, deformation, and acoustic metrics
• Advanced or fluent English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Statistical Energy Analysis (Mid & High Frequency Analysis)
• Experience with tools like AVL or GT Suit
• CAE–physical test correlation experience
• Programming/scripting skills in Python or TCL
• Familiarity with HPC environments
• Experience with solvers such as Abaqus, LS-Dyna, or PAM-Crash
