Nutrition Faculty, Open Rank

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction in nutrition and dietetics courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels
• Advise and mentor students across academic programs and serve as Faculty Advisor to the Student Dietetic Association (SDA)
• Contribute to curriculum development and program accreditation activities, including overseeing the Nutrition minor
• Engage in scholarly activities and service to the College appropriate to the assigned rank
• Meet all faculty responsibilities and expectations as outlined in the Faculty Handbook

Requirements

• Master's degree in Nutrition or an appropriate related field
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience credentialed as an RDN
• Demonstrated expertise in community nutrition and health promotion
• Ability to teach effectively using online and HyFlex instruction modalities

Preferred Qualifications

• Terminal degree (Ph.D. or nutrition-related practice doctorate)
• Prior teaching experience, particularly within an ACEND-accredited dietetics program
• Proven track record of innovative, high-impact teaching practices that support student engagement
