Nursing - Tenure Track Faculty

Responsibilities

• Teach lecture and laboratory courses following the course syllabus to foster student success and engagement
• Participate in the continuous development, review, and revision of the department's curriculum
• Maintain student records, including attendance and grading, ensuring timely submission of grades
• Engage in scholarship and professional growth to maintain competence in the nursing discipline
• Serve on department and college committees and act as an ambassador for the nursing program
• Mentor and coach students to help them meet their educational and professional goals

Requirements

• Master's degree in nursing
• Valid Ohio Registered Nurse Licensure
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing practice experience
• Current CPR for the Professional Rescuer certification
• Compliance with all immunization requirements upon hire
• Demonstrated commitment to teaching a concept-based curriculum across the lifespan
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in groups
• Proficiency in using technology for instruction, research, and communication

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 2 years of prior teaching experience
• Experience utilizing Human Patient Simulators or high-technology simulation in classroom or laboratory settings
