Nursing Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily hospital operations and patient care areas.
• Serve as the on-site leader during evenings, nights, and weekends.
• Respond to clinical emergencies, including Rapid Response, Stroke Alerts, and Trauma.
• Act as Incident Command in emergency situations until relieved.
• Develop and implement staffing plans and manage bed capacity and patient flow.
• Provide clinical guidance, coaching, and support to nursing staff.
• Manage service recovery for patient and family concerns.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, nursing standards, and quality management processes.

Requirements

• Current New Hampshire nursing license.
• Minimum of 3 years of acute care clinical experience.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current ACLS and PALS certification (or equivalent AHA credential).
• Ability to work a per diem schedule requiring a minimum of 24 clinical hours every 4 weeks, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a clinical setting.
