About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily hospital operations and patient care areas.
- Serve as the on-site leader during evenings, nights, and weekends.
- Respond to clinical emergencies, including Rapid Response, Stroke Alerts, and Trauma.
- Act as Incident Command in emergency situations until relieved.
- Develop and implement staffing plans and manage bed capacity and patient flow.
- Provide clinical guidance, coaching, and support to nursing staff.
- Manage service recovery for patient and family concerns.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, nursing standards, and quality management processes.
Requirements
- Current New Hampshire nursing license.
- Minimum of 3 years of acute care clinical experience.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current ACLS and PALS certification (or equivalent AHA credential).
- Ability to work a per diem schedule requiring a minimum of 24 clinical hours every 4 weeks, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a clinical setting.
