Nursing Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and coordination of hospital operations and patient care areas during night shifts.
• Serve as an on-site leader, providing guidance, coaching, and clinical decision-making support to staff.
• Respond to clinical and organizational emergency situations, including Rapid Response, Stroke Alerts, and Trauma.
• Manage staffing plans, bed management, and patient flow to optimize hospital capacity.
• Act as Incident Command in emergencies until relieved.
• Resolve administrative and clinical challenges while maintaining composure with patients, families, and staff.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, nursing standards, and quality management processes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of acute care clinical experience.
• Current New Hampshire nursing license.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Current ACLS and PALS certification (or equivalent AHA credential).
• Ability to obtain MOAB certification within 1 year of hire.
• Ability to meet per diem requirements, including a minimum of 24 clinical hours every 4 weeks and holiday/weekend shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a clinical setting.
