Nursing Staff/Matron

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients' health status and administer medications as per physician orders
• Provide bedside care, nursing interventions, and post-operative support
• Maintain accurate patient records, including vital signs and progress notes
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans, medications, and post-discharge care
• Handle medical emergencies, including CPR and first-aid administration
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and supervise junior nursing staff
• Conduct diagnostic testing and manage sample collection following sterile procedures
• Operate and maintain medical and laboratory equipment

Requirements

• B.Sc. Nursing degree, ANM, GNM, or equivalent from a recognized institution
• Valid registration with the State Nursing Council or Indian Nursing Council (INC)
• Proficiency in clinical procedures and basic nursing/midwifery knowledge
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and emergency response skills
• Basic computer literacy for patient data management
• Ability to work in high-pressure environments such as ICUs or emergency rooms
