Nursing - Part-Time (Adjunct) Faculty

Responsibilities

• Teach curriculum developed by the department to maximize student learning
• Plan and organize instruction, including preparing syllabi in accordance with department policies
• Employ appropriate teaching and learning strategies and utilize instructional technology
• Modify instructional methods to meet the needs of a diverse student body
• Support student success through classroom and online efforts
• Evaluate and return student work in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and submit final grade rosters by established deadlines
• Maintain strict confidentiality of student information

Requirements

• Master's degree in nursing (required for classroom instruction)
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (required for clinical instruction)
• Valid Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure
• Current CPR certification and up-to-date immunization records (required for clinical instruction)
• Proficiency in modern educational technology and multimedia-based instruction
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work within a culturally diverse community

Preferred Qualifications

• Evidence of successful prior teaching experience
