About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Learning Resource Center (LRC) in collaboration with the LRC Director
  • Coordinate lab schedules, resource allocation, and lab setup/breakdown for instructional and simulation activities
  • Maintain inventory of lab equipment and supplies, and coordinate with vendors for repairs and upgrades
  • Ensure compliance with Ohio Board of Nursing (OAC 4723) regulations and CCNE accreditation standards
  • Maintain accurate student records, including competency check-offs and remediation documentation
  • Serve as a functional lead for systems used to track student progress and lab utilization

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of relevant experience, OR Associate’s Degree and 3 years relevant experience, OR High School Diploma/GED and 5 years relevant experience
  • Experience in administrative, healthcare, academia, or laboratory coordination
  • Proficiency with scheduling systems, databases, or office management software
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing, healthcare administration, or education
  • Experience in a nursing education program, simulation lab, or healthcare setting
  • Familiarity with Ohio Board of Nursing requirements and/or CCNE accreditation standards
  • Experience with student tracking systems such as Typhon or Power Apps
  • Knowledge of simulation or laboratory best practices in nursing education
