Nursing Lab Simulation Officer

Responsibilities

• Prepare, set up, maintain, and pack down teaching laboratories and simulation sessions to create realistic learning environments
• Support the delivery of nursing and midwifery practical classes, including high- and low-fidelity simulation environments
• Undertake stock control, equipment checks, maintenance, and procurement of consumables and equipment
• Support WHS compliance to contribute to a safe and inclusive working environment
• Collaborate with academic and professional staff to deliver high-quality simulation experiences

Requirements

• Relevant Health qualification (Associate Diploma or Certificate level with relevant experience, or equivalent)
• Healthcare experience in roles such as Enrolled Nurse (EN), Assistant in Nursing (AIN), Personal Care Worker (PCW), or similar clinical support roles
• Strong Work Health and Safety (WHS) awareness within specialized environments
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Teams and SharePoint
• Well-developed organizational and critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to apply clinical or technical knowledge to maintain realistic simulation setups and move equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting practical and simulation-based learning in Nursing, Midwifery, or other Health disciplines
