Nursing Instructor, Associate Degree

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction that aligns with course objectives and institutional standards
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, assignments, and assessments to support student learning
• Utilize diverse instructional strategies, including technology-enhanced learning and online learning management systems
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to promote academic growth
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and assessments
• Foster a supportive, inclusive, and respectful learning environment
• Serve as an academic resource for students, offering guidance on coursework and study strategies

Requirements

• Must reside in the state of Ohio
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution
• Current active unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Ohio
• At least two years of experience in the practice of nursing as an RN
• Recent clinical experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain positive working relationships with students and staff
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing
• Previous teaching experience
• Experience with curriculum development and assessment
