Nursing Faculty

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on clinical instruction and supervision to nursing students in various clinical settings
• Observe, assess, and provide constructive feedback on students' clinical skills, critical thinking, and professionalism
• Serve as a professional role model and mentor to support student growth in competence and confidence
• Collaborate with program coordinators, full-time faculty, and healthcare facility staff to align clinical experiences with course outcomes
• Accurately document student attendance, clinical hours, and performance evaluations in compliance with program and regulatory standards

Requirements

• Graduate degree in nursing from an accredited institution and program
• OR a bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution and a graduate degree in a health or education-related field
• Subject matter expertise in a nursing specialty (e.g., Geriatrics, Medical/Surgical, Maternity, Mental Health, Pediatrics, or Simulation)
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Three years of professional experience in a nursing specialty
• Previous experience teaching in a nursing program
• Relevant specialty certification
