Nursing Faculty

Responsibilities

• Teach in classroom and clinical settings, specifically medical/surgical nursing
• Lead nursing skills and simulation labs
• Provide online teaching for the Post-Bacc BSN program as needed
• Evaluate students in classroom, clinical, and skills settings
• Participate in department and university committees
• Contribute to an inclusive academic environment

Requirements

• Master's degree in nursing required
• Minimum of three years clinical experience in medical/surgical nursing
• Current Minnesota RN licensure or eligibility
• Commitment to Bethel's core values and Christian faith
• Ability to mentor nursing students and facilitate clinical judgment

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctoral degree or significant progress toward a doctoral degree
• Clinical experience in an additional nursing specialty
• Previous experience as a nurse educator or preceptor
