About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee clinical compliance operations for students, faculty, and adjuncts across undergraduate and graduate nursing programs.
- Serve as the primary administrator for online compliance systems, such as CastleBranch, to manage documentation securely.
- Develop and implement compliance monitoring tools, dashboards, and workflows to track immunizations, background checks, and training.
- Monitor changes in CDC guidelines, state laws, and accreditation standards (e.g., CCNE) to update internal protocols.
- Collaborate with clinical agency representatives and Employee Health departments to resolve documentation discrepancies.
- Lead risk management initiatives, including internal audits of compliance records and policy development.
- Draft and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to onboarding, immunizations, and clinical readiness.
- Support clinical faculty and adjunct onboarding by verifying required documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of professional experience OR Master’s degree and 3 years of professional experience.
- Experience in clinical coordination, compliance, or risk management within a healthcare or academic setting.
- Demonstrated experience with compliance management systems.
- Strong understanding of regulatory standards impacting healthcare education and clinical practice.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with integrity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of immunizations, CPR requirements, and titer test results.
- Experience working with medical regulations or in higher education.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, FERPA, OSHA, CDC guidelines, and accreditation standards (e.g., CCNE, ACEN).
- Experience with policy writing, audit preparation, and clinical partner relationship management.
