Nursing Assistant

Responsibilities

• Admission and discharge of patients or transfer to other facilities
• Execution of general and specific nursing within the nursing process
• Preparation, assistance, and follow-up for diagnostic and therapeutic measures (punctures, endoscopic procedures, positioning, medication)
• Nursing documentation and administrative tasks
• Accompanying critically ill and dying patients and their relatives
• Communication with patients, relatives, and self-help groups
• Instruction of new employees, trainees, and interns
• Compliance with hygiene, accident prevention, and hazardous substance regulations
• Operation and care of devices and materials according to medical device regulations

Requirements

• Completed one-year training as a nursing assistant (Pflegefachhelfer / KPH / APH)
• High social commitment and empathetic demeanor
• Willingness for professional development
