Nursery Practitioner (Qualified)

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 0–3
• Plan and deliver engaging learning activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework
• Support the development and wellbeing of every child, encouraging curiosity and positive relationships
• Carry out regular observations and work closely with parents, carers, and colleagues
• Support the Key Person system to ensure individual child needs are met
• Participate in wider school events, staff meetings, and training days

Requirements

• Qualified to at least NVQ Level 2, CCLD, NNEB, CACHE, or equivalent
• Proven experience working in an Early Years setting
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practice
• Knowledge of the Key Person system
• Excellent communication skills with both children and adults
• A caring, energetic, and reliable professional approach
