Nursery Assistant

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 0–3
• Plan and deliver engaging learning activities within the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework
• Support the development and wellbeing of every child, encouraging curiosity and positive relationships
• Carry out observations and work closely with parents, carers, and colleagues
• Provide personal care and support children's daily routines
• Support wider school events, staff meetings, and training days as required

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent (CCLD, NNEB, CACHE, etc.)
• Proven experience working in an Early Years setting
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
• Understanding of the Key Person system and inclusive practice
• Energetic, reliable, and able to communicate effectively with both children and adults
