Nurse Team Leader AOD

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of high-quality, culturally responsive, and person-centred AOD health services
• Manage and support a multidisciplinary team, overseeing clinical operations and driving service improvement
• Provide expert supervision and leadership in assessment, withdrawal management, treatment planning, and harm reduction
• Oversee AOD service delivery, including Opioid Substitution Therapy (OST) pharmacotherapy
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships while ensuring compliance with clinical standards and quality benchmarks

Requirements

• AHPRA-registered Nurse (General, unrestricted registration)
• Minimum of 5 years of AOD experience (non-telehealth) plus a post-graduate qualification in AOD, OR minimum of 7 years of AOD experience without a post-graduate qualification
• Previous experience in healthcare leadership or management roles
• Solid knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and practices
