About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide primary care and women’s health services including preventive exams, contraception consults, STI evaluation, pregnancy confirmation, and cervical cancer screening
- Assess and manage same-day urgent and episodic concerns across multiple body systems
- Conduct mental health assessments and follow-ups for anxiety, depression, mood, and stress
- Perform procedures including IUD insertions and basic dermatologic procedures
- Provide standby on-call coverage and report onsite within two hours when activated
- Integrate quickly into clinic workflows and support virtual care, inbox coverage, and care team priorities during downtime
Requirements
- NP or PA with national board certification, active unrestricted California license, and active DEA where required
- 3+ years of outpatient primary care experience with a focus on women’s health
- Ability to independently assess, diagnose, and manage a broad range of visits from day one
- Experience performing IUD insertions and basic dermatologic procedures
- Strong clinical judgment to triage, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
- Comfort navigating EMRs, virtual care, AI-supported documentation, and evolving care models
- Availability of at least one day per week, weekdays or weekends, and ability to report onsite within two hours if activated
- Authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Nexplanon insertions and/or colposcopy
- Interest in expanding scope in weight management, menopause care, or advanced dermatology
- Experience in trauma-informed, LGBTQ+ inclusive, and gender-affirming care
- Experience with behavioral health integration
- Experience in high-growth, interdisciplinary, or non-traditional care models
