Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with allergies, asthma, and related conditions through exams and diagnostic testing
• Supervise and manage in-office procedures including food and drug challenges and immunotherapy
• Create personalized care plans and prescribe medications
• Educate patients and families on allergy and asthma care and trigger avoidance
• Track patient progress and update treatment plans
• Manage oral immunotherapy (OIT) patients and provide call coverage
• Collaborate with allergists, pulmonologists, and other healthcare professionals
• Provide mentorship and guidance to nursing and clinical staff
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations

Requirements

• Master’s (MSN) or Doctorate (DNP) in Nursing from an accredited program
• Certified as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
• Active California NP or PA license
• Active California RN license
• DEA registration
• BLS certification
• 0–3 years of NP/PA experience
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Ability to start IVs and knowledge of IV infusions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in allergy, asthma, respiratory care, or pulmonology
• Pediatric and adult care experience
• ACLS certification
