Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Responsibilities

• Partner with Chief Medical Officers to perform comprehensive health assessments, including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic tests.
• Diagnose acute and chronic health conditions and develop appropriate, precision-based treatment plans.
• Manage chronic conditions and implement therapeutic interventions, including prescribing medications and ordering diagnostic tests.
• Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate seamless patient care.
• Perform clinical skills such as phlebotomy, IV insertion, and EKG.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Current NYS License as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• 2+ years of experience as a practicing NP or PA-C.
• BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Ability to work a schedule of 4x10 hour shifts.
• Availability for weekend coverage (specifically 2 Saturdays or Sundays per month).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing clinical environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Clinical experience in Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, or Family Medicine.
• Experience treating adult populations in a primary care or specialty setting.
