About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to women across the lifespan
- Conduct comprehensive well-woman exams, including screenings, education, and counseling
- Diagnose and manage common and complex gynecologic conditions
- Provide care and guidance for patients navigating perimenopause and menopause including hormone therapy
- Collaborate with patients to develop individualized care plans focused on prevention and wellness
- Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests and imaging
- Manage prescription medications, including hormone therapies and contraceptives
- Partner with physicians and fellow providers to coordinate care
- Educate patients on reproductive health, contraception, lifestyle, and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in the electronic health record system
- Participate in team meetings and quality improvement efforts
Requirements
- WHNP certification required
- Clinical experience in women's health
- Passion for menopause care, preventative health, and patient education
- Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
