Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive health assessments and executive medical exams for 6-8 patients daily
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to identify health risks and opportunities
• Analyze diagnostic results and communicate findings with actionable recommendations
• Partner with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, kinesiologists, and dietitians to develop individualized wellness plans
• Educate and counsel patients on preventative health strategies and lifestyle modifications

Requirements

• Master's of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner (MN-NP) degree or equivalent
• Current registration as a practicing Nurse Practitioner with the BCCNM
• Active, unrestricted provincial license with prescribing and lab numbers
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Experience conducting comprehensive health assessments and managing preventative health screening
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in executive medicine or preventive health programs
• Background in private or concierge health care delivery
• Understanding of executive clients' unique needs regarding time efficiency and confidentiality
