Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities

• Perform medical evaluations and formulate differential diagnoses and treatment plans for urgent and emergent care
• Execute medical procedures including IV access, splinting, suturing, phlebotomy, POC testing, and EKGs
• Triage patient needs for in-center, virtual, or at-home care
• Conduct video telemedicine consultations when appropriate
• Document clinical evaluations and treatments in AthenaHealth EHR
• Coordinate care with After Care, house calls teams, and Medical Partners
• Manage Covid-related cases including clinical sampling and symptom management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and graduate of an accredited NP program
• Current Nurse Practitioner state license with ability to practice in California
• ACLS and PALS certifications
• Strong clinical and technical skills (phlebotomy, IV placement, medication administration)
• Ability to work in a fluid, multitasking environment
• Comfort interfacing with high-profile clientele

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-3 years of Nurse Practitioner experience in emergency departments or urgent care centers
