Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with rheumatologic conditions
• Conduct new patient consultations, follow-up visits, and medication management
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
• Prescribe medications, biologics, and infusion therapies in compliance with Florida statutes
• Order, review, and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and diagnostic reports
• Document all patient encounters thoroughly in the electronic medical record (NextGen)
• Provide clinical oversight of the Infusion Suite and respond to adverse events
• Collaborate with the Prior Authorizations department to ensure appropriate documentation

Requirements

• Current, active Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in the State of Florida
• National board certification (AANP or ANCC)
• Active DEA registration
• Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience in internal medicine, rheumatology, or related specialty
• Proficiency in EMR systems (NextGen preferred)
