Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Certified Nurse Midwife

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including physical exams, laboratory testing, and pelvic ultrasound interpretation
• Deliver reproductive health services, including family planning, STI testing/treatment, gender-affirming care, and medication abortion
• Manage patient documentation in Electronic Health Records (EHR) and maintain appropriate billing and coding practices
• Partner with the Center Manager to supervise clinical care and train Clinic Assistants and volunteers
• Participate in the training of medical learners, including nursing and medical students
• Support a culture of racial equity, cultural competence, and inclusive care for a diverse patient population
• Adhere to all clinical quality assurance, HIPAA, OSHA, and CLIA regulatory standards

Requirements

• Graduation from a recognized Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Certified Nurse Midwife, or Medical School program
• Professional certification (ANCC, NCC, ACNM, NCCPA, or MD)
• Active State Medical License and Controlled Substance Registration
• Valid DEA license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
• Ability to work a schedule including one late night per week and one Saturday per month

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in sexual and reproductive health and abortion care
• Experience using EPIC EHR systems
