Nurse Practitioner - Pediatrics

Responsibilities

• Partner with pediatricians to provide exceptional care at the Institute and through member home visits
• Provide preventive care, well visits, and personalized health assessments
• Manage urgent visits and focused follow-ups both independently and under supervision
• Perform minor clinical procedures including phlebotomy, peripheral IV insertion, wound care, and vaccinations
• Communicate with families via secure messaging and email in collaboration with the care coordination team
• Adhere to all ethical principles, professional standards, and regulatory requirements governing nursing practice

Requirements

• Current New York License with nurse practitioner credential in Pediatrics or Family
• 2+ years of experience as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
• National Board Certification (Pediatrics or Family)
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Proficiency in clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, IV placement, catheterization, and medication administration
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits within the service area
• Ability to adapt to various point-of-care testing modalities and devices
