Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality care to primary and palliative patients in and around Marion County, FL
• Assess patient's health by performing physical examinations and studying medical histories
• Develop impressions, diagnosis, and treatment plans
• Order diagnostic testing and prescribe medications or supplies
• Effectively communicate with office staff and clinical operations
• Foster trust and consult with patients, families, and caregivers during visits
• Attend quarterly medical staff meetings

Requirements

• Board Certified with valid NP or PA certification in the State of Florida
• 1-2 years of primary care experience with geriatric patients
• Strong clinical skills for accurate assessment and diagnosis
• Ability to problem solve and operate independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospice experience
