About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including on-site and virtual supervision for infusions and injections
- Conduct patient assessments, document SOAP notes, and monitor treatment responses
- Educate patients and families on treatment expectations, side effects, and disease management
- Maintain accurate records in EHR systems and uphold HIPAA and OSHA standards
- Collaborate with referring providers and multidisciplinary teams to enhance care coordination
- Support clinical operations including inventory management and prior authorizations
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
- Board Certification (AANP or ANCC)
- BLS certification required
- Ability to treat both adult and pediatric populations
- Strong IV and infusion therapy skills
- Proficiency in clinical documentation and EHR systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification
- PALS certification
- Experience in an ambulatory infusion center or outpatient specialty clinic
