Comprehensive Rehab Consultants (CRC) is a physician-owned and operated group revolutionizing the way skilled nursing facility (SNF) care is delivered. We focus on Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) to enhance and restore functional ability and quality of life for patients with physical impairments.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R)/Physiatry services as a rehab consultant
- Represent CRC in your facility through clinical leadership and collaboration with interdisciplinary care teams
- Collaborate with PCP teams to manage conditions common in SNFs such as CVA, neurological conditions, and postoperative orthopedic surgeries
- Work alongside PT, OT, and SLP teams to improve patient function
- Assess and collaborate on the management of barriers to therapy including pain, spasticity, and neurogenic bladder/bowel
- Attend multidisciplinary meetings to bridge the gap between therapy and internal medicine
Requirements
- Nurse Practitioner/APRN License
- Pennsylvania License
- Ability to work in the U.S.
- Passion for post-acute healthcare and the geriatric population
- Confidence to function autonomously
Preferred Qualifications
- SNF or post-acute experience
