About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct clinical care for children ages 0–3 with a history of NICU admission, including developmental assessments and longitudinal follow-up.
  • Lead day-to-day clinic operations, including patient flow, staffing, resource allocation, and provider scheduling.
  • Develop and maintain clinic policies, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
  • Co-lead a multidisciplinary team of providers and staff to ensure high-quality, standardized patient care.
  • Monitor clinic performance using Epic reporting to improve access, throughput, and revenue cycle performance.
  • Coordinate care with inpatient NICU teams to support referrals, eligibility, and discharge planning.
  • Drive quality improvement efforts and lead cross-functional strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or equivalent in education and experience.
  • Two years of related clinical experience.
  • Current New York State NP and RN Licenses.
  • NP Board Certification.
  • Pediatric NYP Certification (PNCB).
  • DEA License.
  • BCLS and PALS certification.
  • Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-3+ years of experience specifically as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Previous NICU experience (e.g., RN background) or developmental pediatrics experience.
  • Primary Care experience.
  • Proven leadership experience managing or leading a multidisciplinary team.
