Casa Esperanza, Inc. is a bilingual/bicultural behavioral health treatment provider serving Boston and the Merrimack Valley. Their mission is to empower individuals and families to recover from addiction, trauma, mental illness, and other chronic medical conditions through comprehensive, integrated care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct physical assessment services to patients
  • Oversee medication reconciliation and standing orders for admission and withdrawal management
  • Supervise medical and nursing teams, including the Nurse Manager
  • Conduct clinical assessments for MAT eligibility and provide prescriptions monitoring
  • Lead weekly Care Management and Multidisciplinary Team Meetings
  • Perform medical clearance exams at intake and provide urgent care exams
  • Collaborate with community providers for specialty care, medication refills, and follow-up orders
  • Maintain electronic health records, including progress notes and assessments
  • Educate patients on medical diagnoses, medications, and usage
  • Maintain QA/QI protocols and ensure compliance with DEA and BSAS regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
  • Certification to prescribe buprenorphine, methadone, and other MAT
  • Medicaid/Medicare enrolled provider
  • Valid DEA and NPI credentials
  • Demonstrated experience treating substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions
  • Ability to work onsite at least 40 hours per week

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual Spanish/English language capacity
  • Knowledge of ASAM best practices
  • Experience with EHR systems

  • Compensation: $157,000 - $160,000
