Responsibilities

  • Perform daily clinical evaluations of cardiac patients within the Cath Lab, Emergency Department, and Inpatient Units
  • Provide specialized cardiovascular nursing care through consultation and collaboration with supervisory physicians
  • Operate within the framework of jointly approved clinical protocols
  • Participate in patient education, clinical consultation, and research activities at various levels

Requirements

  • Current Maryland Acute Care Nurse Practitioner licensure
  • ANCC Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • MSN degree
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
