Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for university students in the Student Health Center
• Manage common acute illnesses, injuries, and stable chronic conditions
• Promote health and wellness through lifestyle and behavior guidance
• Document accurate and complete medical records in accordance with university policies
• Consult with collaborating or supervising physicians as required by law
• Refer students to appropriate healthcare providers or community agencies
• Serve as a preceptor for Athletic Training students
• Evaluate and treat employee occupational injuries
• Maintain strict confidentiality of student and staff data in compliance with state and federal guidelines

Requirements

• Master's degree required for certification
• 3 to 5 years of primary care experience
• Licensed to practice and prescribe in the State of Ohio
• National specialty certification from a recognized board
• Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant training
• Experience providing telehealth services
• Ability to work flexible hours and prioritize diverse tasks
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Adult or Family Health
• At least one year of College Health experience
• Experience in sports medicine, orthopedics, or women's health
