Nurse (Parkinson Specialist)

Responsibilities

• Care for Parkinson's patients and their relatives with patience and empathy
• Advise on aid options, information, and self-help group contacts
• Act as a link between medical staff and patients to prevent disease progression
• Serve as a competent contact person for Parkinson's and epilepsy counseling
• Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing measures
• Collaborate in interdisciplinary and interprofessional treatment teams
• Participate in weekly case discussions

Requirements

• Completed training as a nurse (Gesundheits- und Krankenpfleger) or comparable qualification
• Experience in neurological patient care is desirable
• Interest in neurology or Stroke Unit specialization
• Interest in further training and implementing neurological nursing concepts
• Friendly, sympathetic demeanor with high empathy
• Strong planning and organizational skills
