Nurse or Operating Theatre Assistant

Responsibilities

• Support endoscopic examinations and interventions
• Manage outpatient endoscopy care
• Assist with organ punctures and sonographies
• Assist in endoscopic urology (TUR) and small surgical procedures
• Perform general and specialized nursing within the nursing process
• Prepare endoscopes and additional instruments according to the Medical Devices Act
• Participate in on-call service
• Manage recovery room care
• Handle proctological consultations
• Manage material ordering and disposal
• Perform sedation according to S3 guidelines
• Conduct pre-endoscopic nursing visits
• Administer intravenous access and blood sampling
• Adhere to hygiene, accident prevention, and radiation protection regulations

Requirements

• Completed training as a nurse (Gesundheits- und Krankenpfleger) or OTA (Operating Theatre Assistant)
• Several years of professional nursing experience, ideally in endoscopy
• Strong social competence and teamwork skills
• Proactive and professional demeanor
• Willingness for continuous professional development
