Nurse or Operating Theatre Assistant

Responsibilities

• Support the endoscopy team with endoscopic examinations and procedures
• Manage outpatient endoscopy and assist with organ punctures and sonographies
• Assist in endoscopic urology (TUR) and small surgical procedures
• Perform general and specialized nursing within the nursing process
• Prepare endoscopes and additional instruments according to the Medical Devices Act
• Participate in on-call service and manage the recovery room
• Handle material ordering, disposal, and sedation according to S3 guidelines
• Perform pre-endoscopic nursing visits and administer intravenous access/blood draws
• Adhere to hygiene, accident prevention, and radiation protection regulations

Requirements

• Completed training as a Nurse (Gesundheits- und Krankenpfleger) or OTA (Operating Theatre Assistant)
• Several years of professional nursing experience, ideally in endoscopy
• Strong social competence and team player mentality
• Proactive, friendly, and professional demeanor
• Willingness to engage in continuous professional development and quality measures
