Nurse or Anesthesia Technical Assistant (ATA)

Responsibilities

• Preparation and inspection of the anesthesia workstation
• Patient care and monitoring before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Assistance with induction, maintenance, and emergence of anesthesia in cooperation with the interprofessional team
• Assistance with regional, spinal, and peridural anesthesia procedures
• Implementation of medical orders for diagnostic and therapeutic measures
• Patient care and monitoring in the recovery room
• Recognition of life-threatening conditions and initiation of life-saving measures
• Safe operation of medical technology
• Participation in emergency management in the shock room and at the heliport

Requirements

• Completed training as a nurse (m/f/d), health and nursing specialist (m/f/d), or Anesthesia Technical Assistant (ATA) (m/f/d)
• Ideally professional experience in anesthesia service or specialization in intensive care and anesthesia nursing
• High level of professional and social competence
• Ability to work cooperatively and appreciatively with all professional groups
• Professionalism and empathy when dealing with patients and their relatives
• Interest in medical technology and IT skills
• Strong sense of responsibility and organizational talent
