Nurse Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and supervision of nursing care in Health Services
• Triage and assign appropriate levels of care to incoming clinical phone calls
• Perform physical assessments and evaluate student complaints during in-person appointments
• Administer medications, vaccines, and allergy immunotherapy injections
• Oversee nurse triage line, nursing visits, clinical scheduling, and clinical supplies
• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate registered nurses and medical assistants
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards including CLIA and Vermont Immunization requirements
• Manage clinical supply ordering and maintain documentation in the EHR

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing
• Current or eligible to obtain Vermont State RN license
• 4 years of experience in primary care, urgent care, or similar
• Experience in program and/or staff supervision
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Knowledge of social, psychological, and physical developmental stages of college students
• Commitment to multicultural approaches to clinical care
