Nurse Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and supervision of nursing care in Health Services, ensuring compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver direct, culturally sensitive nursing care for acute and chronic conditions in a collaborative campus environment.
• Manage the nurse triage line, clinical scheduling, nursing visits, and clinical supply ordering.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate registered nurses and medical assistants.
• Perform physical assessments, triage clinical phone calls, and administer medications, vaccines, and immunotherapy.
• Ensure compliance with CLIA and Vermont Immunization requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Current or eligible to obtain a Vermont State RN license.
• 4 years of experience in primary care, urgent care, or similar settings.
• Proven experience in staff supervision and program management.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Commitment to multicultural approaches to clinical care and addressing diverse health outcomes.
