Nurse Manager

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise the delivery of nursing care within the treatment facility
• Troubleshoot problems and situations that arise on the unit
• Assist with staffing, coverage, and new nurse orientation
• Supervise medical aspects of treatment plans and implementation for patients
• Review incident reports and follow up through established processes
• Provide clinical expertise in medical management, crises, and behavior management
• Assist with infection control and monitor weekly data trends
• Manage vendor relations and pharmaceutical services
• Assist the Nurse Director with audits, checklists, and policy updates
• Ensure compliance with accreditation and licensing requirements

Requirements

• State Licensure as an RN (Required)
• Bachelor’s degree (B.S.N.) OR Associate Degree (Required)
• 1+ years of patient care experience in nursing field (Required)
• 3+ years of direct patient care if holding an Associate Degree (Required)
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting (Preferred)
• Master’s degree (M.S.N) (Preferred)
