Nurse Cum Purser

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and emergency medical care, including handling sickness, injuries, and health monitoring onboard.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage personnel administration, including arrivals, departures, and accommodation assignments in line with the roster.
• Coordinate personnel logistics and travel activities with marine and travel agencies.
• Support the Master/OIM with training and certificate management.
• Manage crew changes and update the personnel roster plan.
• Plan and record personnel movements via helicopter and crew change boats.
• Prepare daily reports regarding POB (Personnel on Board), shifts, muster lists, and meals.
• Record personnel attendance, absences, overtime, and hours of work/rest.
• Liaise with catering for meal arrangements and room cleaning.
• Handle personnel lockers and issue requests for hotel and transportation bookings.
• Interface with marine agencies for emigration formalities.

Requirements

• University Graduation Diploma in Medical Sciences or a Diploma in Nursing with medical emergencies management.
• Valid medical doctor or nurse license in country of origin.
• Valid BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), and ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting or emergency field (ER, ICU, Trauma, etc.).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an offshore environment (rigs or vessels) or the Oil & Gas industry.
• Alternatively, 2 years of hospital/emergency experience combined with 2 years of offshore vessel personnel administration experience.
• Fluency in English.
