Nurse

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional, compassionate, and ethical care to patients within the community.
• Support the patient pathway from hospital to home through home visits and community clinics.
• Plan, manage, and organise caseload and time effectively and efficiently.
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, carers, and referring healthcare professionals.
• Undertake Appliance Use Reviews (AURs) in accordance with company and Department of Health guidance.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in line with Company, Legal, and Professional standards.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with healthcare professionals across the GESH region.
• Deliver education and training to fellow healthcare professionals.
• Participate in service evaluation, audit, and development activities.

Requirements

• Registered General Nurse (RGN).
• Nursing Degree qualified.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in teaching or delivering education.
• Confident IT user.

Preferred Qualifications

• Stoma Care experience is highly desirable.
