Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient care within internal medicine and geriatrics on the Inpatient Ward
• Work according to Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment (CGA) to create coordinated treatment and follow-up plans
• Implement standardized care processes for conditions such as malnutrition, fall risks, and pressure ulcers
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams including doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and assistant nurses
• Support patients coming from home healthcare, special housing, or other hospitals

Requirements

• Licensed nurse (legitimerad sjuksköterska)
• Strong interpersonal skills with patients and relatives
• Ability to build trust through positive, attentive, and clear communication
• Flexibility to adapt to changing work conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialist training in geriatric care or elderly care
• Experience in geriatric nursing
• Experience with Melior and Mina Planer systems
