Nurse Associate, Plastics

Responsibilities

• Coordinate diagnostic and therapeutic regimens for a specified group of patients
• Act as a liaison between physicians, patients, and families to ensure cohesive care
• Assist physicians with patient examinations, diagnostic tests, and bedside procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs during procedures involving conscious sedation
• Conduct patient triage, respond to phone calls, and counsel patients on medication regimens and lifestyle modifications
• Manage clinical research activities, including patient screening, data entry, and chart reviews
• Coordinate patient admissions, follow-up appointments, and discharge planning
• Communicate with referring physicians and insurance companies regarding patient care and documentation

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Illinois
• Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle complex patient interactions with discretion

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a plastics, reconstructive, or cosmetic surgery setting
• Ability to manage a demanding workload with high levels of initiative and problem-solving
