Nurse Assistant

Responsibilities

• Prepare the hemodialysis area and machines for each treatment cycle
• Prepare and pick all necessary consumables for HD treatment
• Perform vital sign checks and monitor patient weight before and after treatment
• Assist nurses in observing patient conditions, signs, and symptoms
• Assist with specimen collection and delivery to the laboratory
• Maintain clinical supplies, including inventory counts and treatment cart readiness
• Perform cleaning of hemodialysis machines, dialysis chairs, and treatment areas
• Ensure patient safety standards are met within the clinical environment
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team

Requirements

• Ability to perform vital sign checks and monitor patient weight
• Experience or ability to assist with specimen collection and delivery
• Proficiency in maintaining clinical supplies and inventory
• Commitment to ensuring patient safety and high-quality care standards
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and families
