Nurse Anesthetist

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-anesthetic assessment and evaluation of patients
• Develop and implement anesthetic plans and administer anesthesia
• Manage anesthesia induction, maintenance, emergence, and post-anesthesia care
• Select and administer anesthetics, adjuvant drugs, fluids, and monitoring modalities
• Support airway and pulmonary management, including intubation and extubation
• Document care and collaborate with clinical teams in a hospital setting

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a related field from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
• Current CRNA national certification and maintenance of certification
• Active New Jersey RN license and New Jersey APN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work effectively in uncertain clinical situations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
